Autoimmunity is an important cause for disease manifestation in clinical practice. Usually Ayurvedic doctors see Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE, Psoriatic Arthropathy. This Paper describes the Role of Dhatu Paka from various Chapters of Ayurveda and treatment experience of Vatarakta spectrum of Disorders. It also discusses the role of Rasayanas in preventing remission and relapses of autoimmune disorders. We address various investigations that should be used by ayurveda Vaidyas before, during and after the manifestation of diseases and extensively about various Kashaya Yogas in Kerala.
