As an Ayurvedic Health Counselor & Yoga Therapist, I work one on one with clients drawing from Yoga and Ayurveda philosophies to create personalized practices that will empower them to create sustainable self-care practices aimed at promoting vitality and well- being in their body, mind and spirit. Whether their goals are physical, mental, spiritual or any combination thereof, my goal is to support my clients in taking the steps toward manifesting them.
Luke is a California certified massage therapist, Hendrickson Method practitioner, and nationally certified Ayurveda Lifestyle Coach.
My practice is rooted in the Ayurvedic principles which outline the interdependence of the body, mind and emotion in all expressions of health and imbalance. Additionally, Luke is a registered YA yoga teacher has been studying and practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching Tibetan yantra yoga, breathwork, and hatha yoga. Services are tailored to align clients with their intrinsic wisdom to heal and are based on ancient and modern healing modalities and principles.
My journey to holistic health began 15 years ago, when despite my healthy lifestyle and all my best efforts, I was struggling with chronic fatigue. I knew something was definitely wrong, but I wasn’t “sick” as our society would define it. I was frustrated that I was tired all the time, but blamed it on a busy work schedule. I didn’t realize my body was trying to communicate a deeper message. When I was introduced to Ayurveda, I felt a sigh of relief- I finally understood what my symptoms really meant. Learning my particular body type, my unique tendencies, and what foods and nutrients I was deficient in, allowed my symptoms to fade with ease. No longer was my body holding me back. My energy increased, my hormones and mood stabilized, and I was able to live with vitality and joy again.
