Volunteering for CAAM
Would you like to volunteer some time and energy to serve the Ayurvedic profession in California? CAAM would greatly appreciate your help with its numerous committee projects.
The CAAM committees that you could volunteer on include:
- Membership - focuses on increasing and serving the CAAM membership
- Ethics Review - a committee created to understand and uphold the ethics of Ayurvedic practice
- Education - developing educational standards, research, the scope of practice for Ayurvedic practitioners, and Ayurvedic exams to receive CAAM certification
- Legislative - monitors and develops legislation relating to the Ayurvedic profession
- Nominating - reviews, interviews, and hunts for CAAM Board of Directors applicants
- Special Events - public relations, organizing events and fundraising for CAAM
- Election - organizes and executes the CAAM Board of Directors elections
- Fundraising - more specifically focuses on fundraising for CAAM
- Insurance - works on insurance related matters involving Ayurveda
- Volunteer - helps to involve the CAAM membership in CAAM's progress and activities
