Why should I join CAAM?
CAAM is the only state organization that represents your best interests as a practitioner. We are working hard to ensure that your rights as an independent practitioner are protected.
Will CAAM help me build my practice?
Yes! We are a resource of information to our members in their business. We provide to the public an online list of CAAM certified Ayurvedic practitioners, so they know that you are among the best trained and recognized practitioners in the state. We also support public outreach and education in order to raise the awareness of Ayurveda as a natural healing alternative. We now have an online practitioner directory for members on the website!
What other member benefits will I receive?
CAAM is planning to offer low-cost liability insurance for our practicing members soon. We also have a "members only" discount services guide where you will be able to get reduced costs on various products and services.
Will CAAM keep me updated on laws that affect my practice?
Through both our newsletters and our website, CAAM will keep its members abreast of any laws that affect their practice rights and responsibilities.
Will CAAM inform me about upcoming Ayurvedic educational programs?
As a CAAM member, you will receive announcements of Ayurvedic educational programs through our member website, newsletters, and e-mail notification.
Can CAAM help me to connect with other Ayurvedic practitioners?
Yes. In addition to annual meetings of members, CAAM supports Ayurvedic continuing education programs which will provide you the opportunity to network with others in your field. In addition you will have access to the CAAM member on-line chat room (we are currently working on this). We also plan to publish a peer-reviewed journal and support Ayurvedic research. By joining CAAM, you are joining others who want to share ideas and camaraderie with fellow practitioners.
How do I join CAAM?
